In March of 2012, Strictly Street Salsa received the unexpected honor of being the recipient of a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for its continued contribution to the Houston community. Previous awards included the prestigious Jefferson Award where Strictly Street Salsa was 1 of 12 finalists selected from a pool of approximately 4 million individuals and thousands of organizations in the Houston area.
